In front of the mirror Celeste wonders about her own identity, the young adventurer takes the risk of knowing what lies on the other side. She dares to cross the border and starts a journey that leads her on a quest for self-knowledge, a kind of passage rite that leads her into her own secrets. In a world unknown, Celeste is received by a host that guides her in a journey through a bucolic and fantastic landscape, simultaneously constructed by physical matter and dreams fiber. In that world, facial expressions are hidden under masks and the voice is silent. It is only through gesture that communication exists. On a pilgrimage to her own soul, through a parallel universe, apparently uninhabited, Celeste continues with the odd goal of returning where she started. But is it Celeste’s goal so strange after all? Was not that Magalhães’s goal? Leave to return to the same place and through this change the world, only to travel to the point where she was when she left home? Sometimes we travel because we need something or someone that is far away, other times just to find out what is beyond here. But Celeste’s trip had nothing to do with need or curiosity, she wanted to discover the feeling of returning home. The trip was just an excuse to get away from everything she knew and return to her life with a new knowledge about it, which was given to her through distance. Celeste went away to come back, went far to feel closer, and it was on the journey that she passed the limits and found the distance that exists...
